Höyrykivet - steam stones for sauna
From the land of sauna-goers come these simple but effective steam stones, called "Höyrykivet" in Finland. Traditional and made by hand from soapstone, they store the heat in the sauna particularly well and heat the water in the holes provided. Unlike an infusion, it evaporates not in one fell swoop, but gradually, continuously humidifying the sauna air - for about 15 minutes when the water hole is completely filled. You can also add scented essences or essential oil to the water, whose fine aroma gradually spreads throughout the sauna with the steam.
Hint:
This product is an example of genuine handicraft; therefore, minor deviations in size and colour may occur.
