Beechwood and Pearwood.
Since 1907, Rumold in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany, has been manufacturing drawing instruments of the highest precision. These classical wooden rulers made of clear-varnished hornbeam with a pearwood middle bar are faceted from both sides and have a scale with 1 mm increments.
Rulers. For the Correct Line.
The French philosopher Albert Camus asserted that giving a rap on the knuckles with a ruler was not enough to create a culture – so now we would like to take a different approach to the issue and add something to the culture of the ruler. These classical rulers in the rare combination of pearwood and beechwood are made by Rumold in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany.
