This reversible bed linen is made from a special half-linen: In a very fine and light quality (120 g/sqm basis weight), the half-linen is exceptionally supple and kind to the skin. Linen, a classic material for summer, is also suitable for cooler nights thanks to the combination with cotton. It also provides a soft feel and is comfortable even on sensitive skin.

For the plain weave, fine cotton yarn in white is used in the warp and green-grey linen yarn with varying yarn counts in the weft. This gives the plain side a slightly mottled appearance. On the other side, narrow double stripes in green-grey run across the white background - so you have the choice: an iridescent green-grey color accent or fresh white with light stripes. Despite the fine weave, the half-linen is hard-wearing, but it should preferably not be put in the tumble dryer as the high heat and friction will damage the fibers. It is also easier to iron the comforter covers smooth again after air drying, but do not allow the laundry to dry completely. All covers are fitted with zippers.

Generally, linen bedding may be spun after washing and put in the dryer, but it can then shrink even more, especially it is more difficult to smooth and also does not get back the perfect smooth surface afterwards. But for those who like it more casual, it is the right thing to do. So if you want to put the laundry in the dryer, it has proven useful to put three to five tennis balls in the drum with it. This makes the bed linen softer and smoother - but it won't be as smooth as before, not even by ironing or mangling.
More gentle (and also energy-saving) is drying on the clothesline. Spin the covers after washing only briefly on, if you iron the best still slightly damp laundry after drying, it gets back the smooth surface.
