These brush heads for the Berninox toothbrush from our range have different types of bristles for effective cleaning and are clicked into the corresponding handle element with a simple hand movement. The replacement brush heads are manufactured in Switzerland, as is the handle element. Their base is made of high-quality ocean-bound plastic from the Swiss company Tide Ocean AG. Background: The BERNINOX toothbrush was developed by a Swiss design duo together with dental experts and is an alternative to the standard disposable brushes made of plastic or even bamboo: it consists of an ergonomically shaped and durable handle element made of 316L surgical stainless steel and a replaceable plastic brush head. This means that only the brush head is thrown away - the handle stays, and for a very long time.

Ocean-bound plastic is obtained from plastic waste that is collected on coasts up to 50 km from the sea or ocean. This waste poses a particularly serious threat to the ecosystem due to its proximity to the water. Processing it protects the oceans and contributes to the establishment of a circular economy. In the case of Berninox, the plastic waste comes from the coastal areas of South-East Asia and is processed into high-quality plastics by the company Tide Ocean AG in Switzerland.
