Sharp and coated with platinum.
These razor blades from Merkur are made of stainless steel. Additionally coated with platinum, their life span increases many times over. They come to you individually wrapped in paper in a dispenser, which unlike usual is made of cardboard (and not plastic). The razor blades fit all razors in our range, but also on identical models.

Merkur is one of those Solingen smithies specialising in one product group for almost 100 years: In Merkur’s case, this product is safety razors for double-edged razor blades. They are much easier and safer to operate than open razors but sharper and, factoring in blade costs, more economical than multi-blade razors.
