Primus® Campfire Cooking Set
General Information
Cookware by Primus®. Gets the Ducks in a Row.
Pots and pans for use on the road should be well thought-out, space-saving and robust. This Primus® cooking set consists of two pots with matching lids into which a colander is integrated, and a pan with a base plate made of aluminium, to ensure an even distribution of heat. The pots and pans fit inside each other for transport. This requires the pot handles be folded against the outside of the pot wall and the panhandle under the pan’s base, at which point everything can be stowed in the bag supplied: until the next base camp has been reached and you start unpacking again. Made of robust, stainless steel, you will be able to simmer away for many years.
Primus®. Town to Country Best in Class.
Five years after the first soot-free and portable petroleum cooker had seen the light of day in the workshop of the Swedish engineers Lindqvist and Svenson, it was already able to embark on its first expedition. In 1897, it struck out, via hot air balloon, in the direction of the North Pole, accompanied on its trip by Salomon August Andrée, Knut Frænkel and Nils Strindberg. Since then, a Primus® cooker has been involved in all the great expeditions, whether with Roald Amundsen, on the expedition to the South Pole, with Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay on Mount Everest or with Göran Kropp by bike to the Himalayas. Since then, Primus® has developed stoves for a wide range of applications, whether for summiteers or solo hikers.
One of the most recent developments at Primus® is their Eta technology. It almost doubles the efficiency of the cookers, when compared to conventional models, and raises its rate to nearly 80%, which saves fuel – ergo resources, costs and baggage – and, perhaps most importantly: the food is ready sooner!
Primus® stoves are easy to handle and maintain – the Primus® OmniFuel is the sole model which needs some practice. And they will all do a great job for a very long time. In the (rare) case of repair or wear, the manufacturer has a large stock of spare parts and makes sure that the genuine parts for older models are included.

Primus®. Best in class for town and country.
Just five years after the first soot-free and portable kerosene stove saw the light of day in the workshop of Swedish engineers Lindqvist and Svenson, it was already allowed to go on its first expedition and took off in 1897 with Salomon August Andrée, Knut Frænkel and Nils Strindberg in a gas balloon towards the North Pole. Since then, a Primus® stove has been on every major expedition, whether it was with Roald Amundsen on an expedition to the South Pole, with Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay on Mount Everest, or with Göran Kropp by bike to the Himalayas. Since then, Primus® has developed stoves for a wide variety of uses, for summit climbers or solo hikers.
One of the latest developments at Primus® is Eta technology. It nearly doubles the efficiency of conventional stoves (nearly 80 percent), saving fuel, resources, costs and luggage. The Primus® stoves are easy to handle and maintain, only the Primus® OmniFuel requires a little practice, and they will provide reliable service for a long time. In the (rare) case of repair or wear, the manufacturer has a respectable stock of spare parts - even for older models. And if, contrary to expectations, your Primus® stove can not be repaired, its individual parts can usually be reused for new products.
