Pricking wood oak wood
General Information
Compared with plastic, oak wood is not only the more beautiful material, but also the more durable in case of doubt. Regular contact with damp soil it easily copes with due to its natural properties, and UV light induced fatigue such as material breakage is also eliminated. Our pricking out wood also comes with two tips of different circumferences - to be able to separate smaller and larger seedlings equally gently.
Protects tender seedlings
The tools used by gardeners to separate and transplant seedlings are usually replaced for home use by less suitable tools such as spoons, pens and the like. A real pricking wood with its rounded tip is gentle on tender plantlets, and the ends of different thicknesses are suitable for seedlings of different sizes. The oak wood does not take damage even with regular contact with moist soil.

Nowadays gardeners often use kitchen spoons or pencils to prick out seedlings. This classic dibber puts an end to improvisation. The rounded points cannot do any damage to the small seedlings and the larger of the points is just ideal for the bigger ones.
Instead of colourful plastic our pricking wood is made from robust oak wood and can therefore be used for working in wet or moist soil without any problem.
