    General Information

    This package contains:

'Nemo'Dutch variety with floury, long-oval tubers that have a yellow-red skin and yellow flesh. Matures medium early. Creamy-mild and sweet-aromatic in taste, suitable for preparing mashed potatoes, chips or grilled potatoes.

'Annabelle'Early-maturing variety with elongated oval, firm-boiling tubers, yellow skin and yellow flesh, approved in the Netherlands in 2002. With its thin skin, 'Annabelle' cannot be stored for long, but it exceeds many expectations with its fine, good taste. Mouth-watering as a roast potato, jacket potato or boiled potato, in a salad or baked in a gratin.

'Rote Emmalie'Proprietary variety bred by our supplier in Lower Saxony in 2012. This medium-early variety produces predominantly waxy, elongated tubers with red skin and red flesh. They taste pleasantly spicy and are used as mashed, salad or jacket potatoes and for gnocchi.

'Laura'Medium-early ripening variety from 1998, first allowed in Germany. Its tubers are long-oval with red skin and deep yellow flesh. This predominantly waxy variety has a pleasantly fruity taste and is particularly suitable for preparation as baked and boiled potatoes, chips and mashed potatoes.

'Blaue Anneliese'Our supplier's own breeding in the Lüneburg Heath from 2018. Very late-maturing variety with oval-shaped, smooth-skinned, blue tubers with blue flesh. Its taste is described as strong. The 'Blaue Anneliese' is delicious when prepared as boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes or in a colorful potato salad.

'Linda'German variety from 1974, also known as the "Queen of German potatoes". Medium-early maturing with yellow, long-oval and smooth-skinned tubers with deep yellow flesh. Firm-boiling, therefore particularly good as a jacket potato, boiled potato or in salads and also prepared as a gratin. Described as creamy and very tasty.

    Article Number 215484

For this potato mix, we have selected six modern varieties that are nevertheless worth preserving.

Contains one tuber of each of the varieties described opposite.

By the way: We are not allowed to offer you these potatoes as seed potatoes because, as you may know, the tubers would require special official approval as such. Therefore, we ask that you only put them in the cooking pot and not accidentally drop them into the prepared garden bed. (Because then more potatoes would grow from them - and that must not happen under any circumstances).
