Our planting cord holder is turned in a neighboring turnery from oak wood, which is particularly resistant to moisture and does not shy away from contact with moist soil. The 10 m long cord is made of durable jute fiber.

Rows drawn along a planting cord facilitate sowing and planting in the vegetable patch. Not as a sign of exaggerated horticultural sense of order, but mainly because the straight planting rows also simplify many maintenance tasks: from raking and weeding to separating the plantlets when the seeds have grown.

Our plant spindles made of oak are turned on a lathe in a wood turning shop. They are especially moisture resistant and are insensitive to contact with damp earth. The cord is made of durable jute fiber. Just remove any earth that may be clinging to it at the end of the season and store it in a dry place, and the spindle can be reused for many years to come.
