Linen Bedding from the Mühlviertel: Featuring a Herringbone Pattern.
Linen weaving has a centuries-old tradition in the Mühlviertel. Over the course of time, the region has specialized in the processing of refined linen yarns. The traditional manufacturer Vieböck in Helfenberg produces this fine linen bedding from a twill weave fabric with a narrow herringbone pattern. With 26 warp threads and 20 weft threads per centimeter, it is particularly dense, discerning, and yet exceptionally airy and light. The smooth fabric has a pleasantly soft feel and does not lint. Vieböck uses extra-fine long-flax yarns, resulting in a fabric weight of 134 g/m²: extremely low for linen fabrics. In addition, the high-quality yarns ensure that the weave has a “luster” – the typical delicate shimmering of linen.

100% pure linen made from long-fiber flax, woven in a twill weave. Basis weight 134 g/sqm. Yarn count in the warp Nm 30, in the weft Nm 36. Machine washable up to 95 °C for the white wash, up to 60 °C for the light blue wash. Pull into shape while still damp. Do not spin or tumble dry. All covers are equipped with yarn-covered twisted buttons. Made in Austria.
