The now common plastic on the handle and sometimes blade, this dough cutter is pleasantly missing. From birch grown in Swedish forests is the handle, which lies well in the hand and is firmly doweled to the blade. This is made of stainless steel (material thickness 0.7 mm), is very stable and has an asymmetrical shape - the pointed end goes first into the dough, the round can also be used once to get the last remnants of it from the mixing bowl.
The dough cutter is a Baltic co-production across national borders: The manufacturer has the individual parts produced in Sweden and assembled in Estonia. The latter is done by hand, as is the treatment of the wooden surfaces, which are still oiled to protect against moisture.

Asymmetric blade made of stainless steel. Handle made of oiled Swedish birch, with large hanging hole. Wooden dowel. Height 9.5 cm, width 15 cm. Weight 85 g.
The birch used to make the hand-turned handle of this dough cutter comes from Swedish forests. It fits comfortably in the hand and is firmly doweled to the blade. The blade is made of stainless steel in a thickness of 0.7 mm. It is very robust and has an asymmetrical shape:
The sharp end can be used to cut into the dough and the rounded end is designed to help scrape everything out of the mixing bowl. The dough cutter is actually co-produced as the individual parts are made by the manufacturer in Sweden and then assembled in Estonia. Final assembly is done by hand, as is the treatment of the wooden surfaces which are oiled to protect them against moisture.
