Just briefly: To illustrate the normal distribution (Gaussian distribution), the natural scientist Francis Galton developed the so-called Galton board. And on the basis of the Galton board this game was designed: Which path does the ball thrown in at the top take along the evenly distributed obstacles? Governs here the luck or mathematics or ... both?
