We offer a classic first flush Darjeeling with a golden-brown cup and a delicately tart, aromatic taste. More precisely: a "FTGFOP1 First Flush", which stands for "Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe". Fine Tippy means that the tea leaves contain many fine, golden tips, Golden Flowery indicates that the tea leaves are golden in color and show floral flavors, Orange Pekoe is a designation for the unbroken leaves that come from the upper bud and the first two leaves of the tea plant. The 1 indicates that this is the first quality within this classification. First Flush refers to the first harvest period (from the beginning of March to mid-April), which produces particularly fine, high-quality tea. What is also remarkable about this Darjeeling is that the leaves come from controlled organic cultivation.

Storage and preparation instructions:

Pour hot water at 100 °C over the tea and leave to infuse for 3-4 minutes, depending on the desired intensity. Store at max. 20 °C and dry.
