Odds & Ends shower towel

Soft to the touch shower towel in a pleasant size and colorful pattern. The 500 g per m² terry fabric made of pure cotton is made exclusively from yarn leftovers from the textile industry and brings color into the bathroom and onto the sunbathing lawn by the lake. It is a real eye-catcher, both as several towels and in combination with monochrome relatives, and a particularly attractive way of avoiding waste.

Colorful home textiles made from industrial waste! When factories dye yarn to weave textiles, they often produce more yarn than is needed - just in case. This means that considerable quantities of yarn are regularly left over, which are normally disposed of. For the textiles in the Odds & Ends collection, Foekje Fleur collects these yarn remnants - exclusively cotton yarns - and uses them to produce home textiles. Dishcloths, dishcloths, washcloths and shower towels in predetermined complex, graphic patterns of overlapping and intersecting lines in different colors and thicknesses. Their colors are created depending on the yarns available. And in batches: after sifting through the available yarns, the Dutch designer puts together the eye-catching and finely balanced color combinations for the next batch of the collection. If the yarns run out, individual colors are replaced or a completely new combination is created. Small variations in the color scheme within a batch are therefore planned for, as are slight differences in size due to production. Odds & Ends scarves are made in Portugal and are easily recognizable by their striped hems woven on a jacquard machine. Practically all of the scarves have a hanger and are quick-drying. The exceptionally beautifully designed hangers and banderoles with which the scarves are supplied are the work of Dutch illustrator Rachel Sender and make the scarves the ideal gift.
