It is a famous cutlery. This is the original, as it has been forged in Solingen since 1910 under the brand "Eichenlaub": a cheek hilt cutlery, forged from stainless steel in one piece.
All knife blades are matte blue pierced and polished by hand. The "oak leaf" handles are carefully fitted, riveted and finely polished individually by hand. They are made of "Paperstone", a young, thermosetting hard fabric, manufactured from a mixture of waste paper and phenolic resins. Like all materials of this order, it is very resistant. A polish gives it a matte sheen, it is pleasant to the touch. In any case, cleaning is done exclusively under running water with a little detergent.

It is a dual riveted handle cutlery forged from one single piece of rustproof stainless steel. The "Eichenlaub" half handles are carefully fitted by hand, riveted, and finely polished. They are made of "Paperstone", a new thermoplastic hard tissue under the use of recycled paper and phenolic resins. Should be hand-washed only, using running water and a little washing-up liquid.
