Necklace Venetian

With the anchor chain as the archetype in its background the highly worked, angular links looking like little boxes with open sides are characteristic for a Venetian chain or box chain. In this brightly shimmering execution of the classical pattern, the edges of the links are slightly rounded and lay smoothly on the skin. In the very movement, the contiguously arranged links shift their positions and interesting reflections are created. If for no other reason than this effect it is rating as a piece of jewellery in its own right and can be worn without a pendant.
