Filigree Milanese Texture.
Braided precious metal jewellery was already known in Etruscan culture. The Milanese texture goes back to the medieval manufacture of iron coats of mail, which were interwoven in such a way that a flexible fabric was created. This necklace is made from flat sections that are then rolled into round tubes.
