Most of us know the fir tree as a Christmas tree, and we can also identify a fir cone as such. However, it is less easy for us to distinguish between the individual conifer genera in the wild. This nature quartet clearly shows us the characteristics of native conifers: spruce, larch, fir and pine, as well as Douglas fir, juniper, yew and sequoia. One card of each ensemble of four is devoted in detail to the habitus (appearance) of one of the trees, its leaf, the cone and the bark.

Every child knows the rules of the quartet. In this one, the detailed illustrated cards introduce eight species of trees native to our country. The game contains easy-to-understand short descriptions of each species. That's how you know it comes from a publishing house that specializes in plant guides and identification books.
