Musgo Real Classic Scent Eau de Cologne

Musgo Real Classic Scent is the best-known fragrance from the house of Claus Porto and, incidentally, also the first. Created in 1936 and only slightly adapted to the current fragrance habits of the time since then, it is now regarded as a stylish reference among classic men's fragrances. Musgo Real Classic Scent owes its success to the balanced composition of fresh, fruity notes with woody, spicy, earthy notes - all in all, an invigoratingly fresh, "clean", yet elegant fougère fragrance. It starts with citrus notes of bergamot and neroli, flanked by earthy patchouli. The woody heart note is characterized by spicy lavender and violet aromas. In the base, musk lends warmth and vetiver adds a subtle green note.

The company history of Claus Porto dates back to 1887, when the German emigrants Ferdinand Claus and Georges Ph. Schweder began producing the finest soaps for the gentlemen of the aristocracy in Porto. When they left the country in 1918, their Portuguese partner Achilles de Brito initially founded his own company with his brother Afonso, but shortly afterwards also took over the production facilities (and the name) of Claus Porto. Claus Porto bath soaps are characterized by a pleasant fragrance, which they owe to natural essential oils from the south of France. They also contain nourishing oils that keep the skin supple. The exclusively natural ingredients are ground seven times in succession on stone rollers, whereby they mix optimally - the scent of the soap becomes more intense and the lather creamier. The soaps pressed on old stamps are then stored in the air for three weeks - without any artificial drying processes. Since around 1920, masculine soaps and shaving products have also been produced under the Musgo Real brand name, which also enjoy an outstanding reputation.
