Multifunction wallet leather

Slightly larger in size and made of incredibly soft, supple cowhide nappa, this wallet not only accommodates cash and credit cards, but also offers enough space for the cell phone and some keys. At the same time, the multifunctional wallet cuts such an elegant and (even when filled) slim figure that it is also an elegant companion for any occasion in the evening - and its design was honored with the German Design Award 2019.
The pleasantly warm feel and the almost glove-soft touch of the leather, which is at the same time exceptionally durable and insensitive, are impressive. It shows its natural surface with the grain, the uppermost layer of the leather, so that the features of the skin are shown to advantage undisguised. The leather is processed unlined.

In the interior can be accommodated in three large compartments papers in wider format and, for example, a smartphone. Credit card formats find space in six small compartments. Coins can be accommodated in the rear large compartment and also well overlooked when the wallet is open. The pocket flap with snap closure prevents coins or cards from falling out of the multifunctional wallet. Finally, there is a zippered compartment on the outside of her back.

Since the 1980s, the leather manufacturer Ackermann has stood for handcrafted and resource-conserving production. Ackermann uses exclusively high-quality leathers tanned in German or European tanneries with minerals, vegetable substances or ingredients of animal origin (for example, fish oil for tanning deerskin). Beate Sedlacek and Karl-Henning Hohmann create the designs – the Bauhaus says hello – primarily based on an idea of functionality while reflecting on the characteristics of the respective leather and its surface. The resulting design is timeless, dispenses with superfluous details and features a clear cut in which every seam has its functional artisanal justification. Therefore, the leather can show all its strengths, including its visual and haptic qualities. Experienced sewists implement the designs in the best bag-making manner. Ackermann manufactures most of the articles at its headquarters in Lüneburg and has certain product lines made in a Czech partner company.
