Mouthwash with coconut oil

Coconut oil has many good properties: it cares for skin and hair and is now often used as an alternative to palm oil in soap making. It is said to have an antibacterial effect, help prevent inflammation and can dissolve substances very well, which is why many use coconut oil for the oil pulling known from Ayurveda. What could be more natural than to also make a mouthwash from coconut oil?
A main ingredient of the mouthwash from Niyok is therefore pure coconut oil, which is supplemented with the essential oils of eucalyptus, sage, thyme and lemon, which are rich in active ingredients. In this combination, the oils unfold comprehensive oral care, because the mouthwash also gets into the interdental spaces, as well as the gums and teeth benefit from the effect of the oils. Used regularly, ideally with the amount of two to four teaspoons once or twice a day rinse extensively, the mouthwash supports the oral and dental health in a natural way. For the fresh breath provides the aroma of peppermint.

It goes without saying that the packaging is sustainable and, with a few exceptions, no plastic is used. The toothpaste tubes, for example, are made of 50% chalk and 50% polyethylene. As a result, the walls of the chalk tubes are only half as thin as those of conventional plastic tubes. The climate-neutral products are produced in Germany using green electricity, and the raw materials come from Europe wherever possible. Parabens, silicones and palm oil are of course taboo.
