Money clip leather

Ackermann uses exclusively high-quality leathers tanned in German or European tanneries with minerals, vegetable substances or ingredients of animal origin (for example, fish oil for tanning deerskin). Beate Sedlacek and Karl-Henning Hohmann create the designs – the Bauhaus says hello – primarily based on an idea of functionality while reflecting on the characteristics of the respective leather and its surface. The resulting design is timeless, dispenses with superfluous details and features a clear cut in which every seam has its functional artisanal justification. Therefore, the leather can show all its strengths, including its visual and haptic qualities. Experienced sewists implement the designs in the best bag-making manner. Ackermann manufactures most of the articles at its headquarters in Lüneburg and has certain product lines made in a Czech partner company.
