The Dutch Moccamaster can do one thing: brew a perfect filter coffee. The entire construction of the machine is designed to simulate the process of hand filtering. Within no time, a copper heating element brings the water to a bubbling boil; then, it meets the coffee grounds at the ideal temperature of 96 °C. A selection button allows you to preset whether the machine brews a whole pot of ten cups of coffee or half a pot (five cups). Another advantage of this coffee machine is that the Dutch manufacturer repairs all wearing parts or offers replacements.
