Mirror scissor mechanism 5x magnification

This mirror comes with a sturdy concertina arm and a frame made from solid, durably chrome-plated brass. The mirror glass consists of a material rarely used for this purpose: optical glass. The manufacturing process of optical glass is rather tricky, and producing the convex shape requires a multi-step routine. Usually, you find optical glass in the form of lenses in loupes and cameras. Lensmakers have to pay a good deal more attention to the purity of the glass when the magnification rates are higher; therefore, they have to reduce air inclusions and impurities to an absolute minimum.
A concertina arm holds this mirror in place just so that you can adjust the reflection to your needs or you can take the mirror in your hand eventually and put it back into its holder afterwards. One side of this mirror simply reflects the image of whatever is in front of it; the other side magnifies the image five times.
