Microplane grater two-way cutting edge

Anyone who bakes a lot will appreciate this grater, as block chocolate can be easily sliced into fine flakes with the sharp two-way blades - as an addition to cake batter or to decorate a cream cake. The more compact, the better: this grater is also ideal for nuts or well-ripened hard cheeses such as Parmesan, Sbrinz or mountain cheese.

These graters are razor sharp. Their many small blades are not simply punched out of the material, but precisely photo-etched. That's why the blades are so sharp - and stay that way, because they hardly wear out even when the graters are used frequently. Citrus peel, for example, is cut, not crushed, and retains its taste, aroma and vitamins. Chocolate and hard cheese can be sliced into fine flakes, while potatoes and vegetables retain their texture.

The graters are made by Microplane in the USA (although the individual parts are assembled in China). Stainless steel is used for all metal parts. The neatly crafted wooden handle inserts are made of walnut wood from Kentucky.
