Men's slider cap striped

Caps of this type - with the top pulled up to the peak at the front and darts at the back of the head - were once part of workwear. However, the shape also became popular outside the world of work, with a variety of materials, patterns and variations on the classic shape. Mayser manufactures this slider cap from a half-linen that features a striking striped pattern with a clearly visible twill weave. The stitching of the shaping darts at the back of the head is unusual (and helps with the fit).

When Leonhard Mayser opened his "Hutmacherey" in Ulm in 1800, he could hardly have imagined that Mayser hats would one day become a global brand, with an annual production of 3.5 million pieces in 1963, a record year (unsurpassed to date). Today, the production figures are far lower, but Mayser can still call itself a global brand with sales markets in 44 countries. The secret to the success of the company based in Lindenberg in the Allgäu, the former "Little Paris" of hat fashion, has remained the same for more than two centuries: Quality. While design, purchasing and sales are still based in the Allgäu, production was relocated to Slovakia in 2002. Mayser built its own factory there and also trains its own staff.
