Men's linen vest

The front of this high buttoned, collarless vest is made of linen, which is processed there in two layers. The back is made of cotton. Two darts give the vest shape, three inset pockets hold small items of daily use. A fabric strap with metal buckle allows moderate adjustment of the waist size.

For Hannes Roether from Munich in his collections, two things are essential. First off, the obvious: straightforward designs for a minimalist, uncomplicated style. Inspiration derived from traditional workwear garments gets him to reinterpret authentic patterns in a contemporary way. The second aspect is the material. Roether sets great store by natural materials. The result: timeless everyday garments, functional, durable, and casual, but never scruffy.

The garment may rub off onto light-coloured materials such as other garments, furniture and upholstery fabrics.
