Men's deck jacket

Conditions at sea are often uncomfortable. So it's no wonder that clothing has to be robust. To withstand the weather on the unprotected ship decks, the outer fabric of this deck jacket is made from tightly woven and waxed 12-oz cotton canvas with a robust feel, with a warming moleskin hull lining underneath. Viscose sleeve linings make it easier to put on and take off. The cover jacket is fastened with a metal zipper with a buttoned, wind-repellent facing. Internal rib-knit cuffs on the sleeves also keep the wind out. The lambskin collar keeps the neck and throat warm. The deck jacket is equipped with two slit pockets and an inside pocket.

Behind Tellason, based in San Francisco, are Tony Patella and Pete Searson. Both bring a fair amount of experience to the table: Before they started their own business a few years ago, they had already spent two decades in the clothing industry as made-to-order clothing manufacturers. Since then, they have made a good name for themselves with their brand. Inspired by found pieces from the working world, they create particularly authentic garments. When making up garments, they like to use tried and tested fabrics, especially textiles full of character, for example, denim from Japan or weaves used for guild clothing from Germany.
