Men's bangle sand cast oxide, anthracite

Using an old technique, the Guthmann jewelry manufactory casts this 925 silver bangle in a bed of sand. The process requires experience and sensitivity, but the effort is worth it: the bangle comes out of the casting black and is oxidized after the burrs have been removed. The striking cast skin with its textured, slightly irregular surface remains intact. On the inside, however, the bangle is smoothed and brushed, making it comfortable to wear.

Making high-quality crafted jewelry affordable for as many people as possible - with this in mind, goldsmith Martin Guthmann founded his jewelry manufactory in 1906. Today, run by his great-grandson in the fourth generation, the family business still produces entirely in the jewelry and gold city of Pforzheim. In the manufactory, rolled, stamped, drawn and cast parts are assembled by hand into small series. Among other things, old jewelry forms and ornaments from the company's own history are incorporated into the design: they are cast and - using historical manufacturing techniques - transferred to our time.
