Men winter parka Etaproof®

Clearly a parka in terms of cut: rather long with a swallowtail and hood. We have it made up in a winter-proof and detailed version. The Riri two-way zipper has a buttoned placket and the sleeve openings are finished with close-fitting, wind-repellent knitted cuffs. The detachable hood is padded, as is the entire parka. The warming effect of this padding is further enhanced by the woollen lining; the parka's outer material is EtaProof®. Drawstrings in the hood, at waist height and at the hem of the body allow the width to be individually adjusted. Two buttoned flap pockets at the front, two vertical zipped pockets on the chest and two inside pockets can hold small items for everyday use.

EtaProof® is a breathable cotton cloth made by the Zurich-based weaving mill Stotz that uses the protective principle of umbrella silk to keep you dry when the rain isn't coming down in torrents from the sky. The moderately wax-based impregnated fabric is woven so tightly that the fibers swell on contact with moisture and water droplets bead up on the surface. As a natural fiber, EtaProof® naturally cannot and will not compete with synthetic fabrics. With intensive use, the light natural color of the cotton can therefore emerge - this is even desired by many customers, similar to the "used look" that occurs with jeans over time.
