The outer fabric, lining and filling of this warming, windproof, waterproof and breathable parka are all about recycling. While the outer fabric and lining are made of recycled polyamide, the filling is made of recycled polyester. The well thought-out piece also convinces functionally: the striking two-way zipper can be closed high. Above it lies a wide wind-resistant panel with concealed metal magnetic buttons. Well-fitting knit cuffs in the sleeve openings effectively keep out wind and cold, and the width of the sleeve openings can be additionally adjusted via adjustable straps with Velcro. An internal elastic cord with cord stoppers at waist level allows for width adjustment, the opening of the hood can also be regulated by means of elastic cord in the drawstring and cord stoppers. Several pockets provide space for small items of daily use: Outside, there are two large patch flap pockets, two angled welt pockets and two set-in chest pockets with vertical, concealed zippers. Inside, there are two pockets with vertical, seam-covered zippers and a patch pocket with flap and Velcro closure.

The owl in the logo of the Danish label Knowledge Cotton Apparel stands for wisdom and knowledge, two elements that are key to the company's history and brand philosophy. Back in 1969, Jørgen Mørup and his father founded a small textile company in the Danish town of Herning and already started to focus on the subject of sustainability. At the end of the 1980s, the two began making their garments from ecologically produced cotton, becoming Denmark's green pioneers, as it were. The next logical step in 2008 was the foundation of Knowledge Cotton Apparel, this time with son respectively grandson Mads as part of the team, a label that unites the company's heritage with a contemporary, sustainable corporate strategy. Today, Knowledge Cotton Apparel stands for casual, sporty menswear, usually made from GOTS-certified organic cotton or "Happy Sheep Wool". The label also works with recycled PET bottles, which it shreds, melts down and spins into yarn to make a durable, water-repellent fabric for jackets.
