Summery shorts with a terry cloth fabric made from pure, skin-friendly cotton. Terry towelling is made from fancy yarns, multiple twisted yarns that already have the typical loops of the fabric - this is where the lively, non-slip surface comes from. This type of fabric is not only voluminous and soft, it is also breathable and pleasantly air-conditioning. Armor lux produces these fastening-free shorts with an elasticated waistband and contrasting drawstring, which ensures a comfortable and snug fit at all times. Seam pockets and a patch back pocket can hold small items for everyday use. The cotton used comes from certified organic farming.

Tellingly, “armor” is the Breton word for sea, and “lux” cannot mean anything else than the magic light at Brittany’s coast. In keeping with their brand’s name, Armor lux design many of their jumpers and shirts, dresses, trousers, hats, caps and scarves in a maritime style. The company, based in Quimper and founded by a Swiss at the end of the 1930s, combines simple, comfortable cuts, classic colours and uncompromising quality of materials and craft. The main production facility is still the company’s headquarter in France while, to a small extent, branches in Madagascar and Tunisia support the production.
