The cut is wide, which provides good freedom of movement and ventilation. The strong fabric is a sturdy cotton fishbone. The large patch leg pocket holds small items for everyday use, while the "first-aid kit pocket" on the other leg can accommodate most smartphones. There are also two side pockets, a small coin pocket and a D-ring at the front, as well as two set-in back pockets, one of which is buttoned. The pants close with a button fly and button, and a "cinch back strap" on the back offers a quick way to adjust the width.
