Men shirt jacket corduroy

The shirt jacket is an ideal garment for the transitional season, as it can be worn on its own like a shirt, as a thin jacket over a T-shirt or under a jacket. Knowledge Cotton Apparel makes this style from a non-slip, quite weighty corduroy made from organically grown cotton, to which a little elastane gives a slight stretch effect and shape retention. Dividing seams at the back give the shirt jacket shape, and there is a breast pocket at the front. The sleeves have a recycled polyester lining, making it easier to put on and take off. The cuffs can be buttoned in two widths.

Back in 1969, Jørgen Mørup and his father founded a small textile company in the Danish town of Herning and already started to focus on the subject of sustainability. Today, Knowledge Cotton Apparel stands for casual, sporty menswear, usually made from GOTS-certified organic cotton or "Happy Sheep Wool". The label also works with recycled PET bottles, which it shreds, melts down and spins into yarn to make a durable, water-repellent fabric for jackets.
