Men paper hat

In terms of shape, this is a porkpie. The hat shape, which takes its name from a British pasty dish, became popular in the 1920s, has since enjoyed success in both artistic and subcultural settings, and has long been a wardrobe classic for men. Diefenthal makes it from woven paper straw: the material, made from cellulose, is light, airy thanks to the open weave and yet provides pleasant shade.
