These classic jeans feature a somewhat narrower cut in the leg. Goodsociety manufactures the jeans in Italy in a rich blue denim from fine, biologically cultivated cotton. The blue denim is refined in an energy saving procedure: the warp of the fabric is made of indigo dyed yarn, without the use of sulphur, and the denim gets its authentic look without the use of chemicals.

The jeans from the Hamburg label Goodsociety are different. Where large quantities of resources are usually consumed and often little environmentally friendly means are used in production, Goodsociety has been committed to the principle that less is more since it was founded in 2007. As a matter of principle, jeans dyed with indigo are not treated with sulphur and all jeans are washed without chlorine or other environmentally harmful substances. All of the cotton used comes from controlled organic cultivation. It is spun and woven in Italy. Cutting, tailoring, washing and finishing are also carried out in Italy. Even the details are taken care of at Goodsociety: Most of the buttons and rivets are made from recycled metal and the labels are made from vegan fabrics, which also come from Italy.

The garment may rub off onto light-coloured materials such as other garments, furniture and upholstery fabrics.
