This straight cut all-rounder has a medium waistband and 5-pocket style pockets. The dyeing is done in a very classic way with indigo. The medium blue wash of the jeans is the authentic "no-nonsense wash" practiced by Mud Jeans, where the jeans are treated with a laser technique. The cotton used is partly certified organic and partly recycled. A little elastane increases wearing comfort and shape retention.

Mud Jeans is an eco-fashion label founded in 2013 and based near Amsterdam. Founder is Bert van Son, who previously gained 30 years of experience in the fashion industry. During his work, he came up with the idea of not only stopping at the use of organic cotton, but also taking into account quite a few other aspects. This starts with water consumption. To produce one Mud Jeans, it takes less than ten percent of the industry standard of 7,000 liters. And the water used for Mud Jeans is even cleaner afterwards than before, thanks to innovative water recycling systems and special washing techniques. Of course, the Mud Jeans are bleached only with oxygen, without the use of harmful chemicals. Next, the production of Mud Jeans is CO₂-neutral: through the use of renewable energy in manufacturing and by offsetting the remaining emissions. And last but not least, by using recycled cotton. This is where the idea of the circular economy comes into play. Mud Jeans has developed a take-back system for old jeans, which are separated back into fibers in Spain and processed into new denim using GOTS-certified organic cotton. Accordingly, Mud Jeans is also a member of the Dutch Circle Economy Foundation.
