Men cowhide jacket

Reaching over the buttocks, this jacket is influenced by 1960s motorcycle clothing. The leather comes from Italy, where it is tanned chrome-free. The traces of an animal life (thorn cracks, stitches) are deliberately not splashed and covered by the barrel dyeing. Pleats popping up laterally below the back yoke expand the shoulders' room to move forward, which is also an advantage in life without a motorcycle. Waist size can be adjusted via a strap in the back. Two large welt pockets are incorporated into the lower front panel. A right chest pocket incorporated into the split seam of the shoulder yoke zippers closed. A panel located under the two-way zipper provides wind protection. A sturdy cotton twill serves as the torso lining, and a strong viscose serge in the sleeve makes it easier to put on.

Such a leather gains its much-desired patina by movement and frequent wearing and proves a magnificent example of what happens when a leather garment is allowed to age with honour. It is this natural ageing process that gives Hack jackets their unique look. They are made up at the Hack headquarters in Cologne and a Polish partner company.
