Match case steel plate

Matches that are bent, damp, torn and otherwise deformed are things of the past with this case. The striking strip, which is glued into the case, can be refurbished simply by cutting out a strip from another match book and regluing it in place of the used one.

Deep-drawing is an industrial mass production process – technically a subcategory of the so-called indirect compression forming – which enables the inexpensive reproduction of metal components and thus the production of high-quality but not high-priced products. In Germany, the deep-drawing of consumer goods has nevertheless become rare – not for reasons of quality, but because of the increased global competition. Our deep-drawn cases made of high-gloss nickel-plated sheet steel come from one of the few remaining German producers. Following the motto “hard shell, protected core”, they are highly valued for their robustness. Bottom and lid are embossed. You can choose from three decors: a floral pattern, dots or stripes plus a space for engraving.
