Marseille soaps. From Rampal
Marseille soap owes its legendary reputation to the vegetable raw materials from the rich local olive culture combined with the coconut and palm oils from overseas landing in the port of Marseille and the lush herbal flora of Provence. Since 1828, the Rampal family business, with an oil content of 72%, has been producing soap according to an unchanged recipe: cooked in copper kettles, the soap mass is ground six times into the finest flakes and pressed into compact pieces. The soaps are made without artificial colors and fragrances.
