Mariposa leather stool

The Mariposa stool therefore matches the armchair, with the same high quality (butterfly) design and manufacture as its big brother and designed to keep your posture even with your feet up.

The strong leather from which the seats are made is vegetable tanned; a saddle leather from French cattle, which is processed using traditional methods in a tannery in Tuscany that specializes in the production of this type of leather. The strong leather is hardly "ironed smooth", it still shows clear traces of the animals' lives. The craftsmanship - at the manufacturer in Sweden - follows the character of the material. The leather is stitched open-edged: Compared to piped seams, this is a very elaborate type of workmanship that not only sets visual accents, but also offers the technical advantage that the seams follow every movement of the heavy leather.

The leather is suspended in a frame made of powder-coated round steel rods (made in Sweden), which is supplied in individual parts and can be easily assembled into a whole using the connectors supplied. In addition to the assembly instructions, each delivery contains fastening screws and a corresponding tool.
