General Information
Pot cloths have been in our range since the first catalog. However, what we always lacked and searched in vain were those that are so voluminous that they can also be used as potholders. Our textile specialist, the linen industry Driessen, now weaves for us such lush, absorbent kitchen all-rounders.
One cloth for many purposes. Absorbent and firm
This kitchen towel has a lush basis weight of 260 g/sqm. Moreover, it is not woven in plain weave or twill weave as usual, but in atlas weave, which makes it even more voluminous. The combination of material mass and weave makes the cloth extremely absorbent - and at the same time requires that it should always dry well after use, preferably spread out over a towel rack or line.
We have the towel woven by the Schlitzer Leinen-Industrie Driessen: from strong linen yarn (yarn count Nm 24) in the warp, a strong cotton twist (yarn count Nm 60/2) in the weft and with Manufactum lettering in the edge. In the kitchen, it can be used for any purpose: for wet hands, hot pots or clean countertops.
