If we are looking for a certain good thing and find that the search results do not meet our standards for material, appearance and function, we sometimes have the product made according to our ideas. A garden work table, for example, should, in our opinion, meet professional gardener's standards. Therefore, our version of this useful work furniture is made of larch wood - with supports made of galvanized and thus rustproof and also otherwise insensitive sheet steel.
The Gardeners’ Work Table.
You’ve seen them in garden centres – work tables specially designed for transplanting, pricking out and generally caring for plants. We have the good-looking table produced in a smaller size for private use. A firm of south-west Germany furnituremakers provides us with a model that features a 3-sided working surface (81 x 38 cm) of easy-to-clean nickel-plated steel. Underneath you find a rectangular basin, with straight edges and two drain-away holes, for standing the plants. The table, despite its generous working surface, will fit easily on to all but the smallest balconies. The frame is of weather-resistant larch-wood – this will turn grey in time if left outside, a process that can be delayed by varnishing. To put the table up, all you need is the six-sided key enclosed with the instructions for assembly.
