When we can no longer offer a proven, good thing because the supplier stops production, we sometimes take action ourselves - as with the Bay Rum. We, and of course our customers, missed it so much that we worked with our pharmacists to develop a counterpart - which is almost even better than the previous one.
From the West Indies: Bay Rum
Bay Rum is an old apothecary specialty, and as such a regular multi-purpose remedy, which European pharmacopoeias from the 19th century recommended mainly for the care of skin and hair, as well as after shaving, and which was used both as a hair tonic, aftershave and facial tonic, as well as a bath additive or body lotion after sports.
basis are Jamaica rum as a high-quality alcoholic carrier substance and Bay oil distilled from the leaves and berries of the West Indian laurel - also known as Bay Rum Tree. Its clove-like aroma combines with the rum to create an amazing composition. Our Bay Rum is particularly suitable for skin care, for example after shaving.
