Magnifying glass cup
General Information
Viewing on the go
With the magnifying glass cup, insects, plants, stones and whatever else can be found outdoors can be literally examined under the magnifying glass at five times magnification. The small sensitive animals can be gently caught by carefully placing the cylinder over the animal. Detailed observation is possible on the spot: if the flat slide is gently pushed under the cylinder, the beaker can be lifted up together with the animal. The lid with lens can be pulled out slightly for focusing; for observing animals that are too large for the beaker or should not be captured, such as butterflies, the lid can be removed completely. Since the cup is not permanently closable, the animals can and should be returned immediately to the place of discovery after viewing and released back into the wild.
Pretty by profession. Toys from Naseweiss
The wooden toys from the Württemberg manufacturer Naseweiss combine the joy of play with the opportunity to learn about principles from nature, technology and culture - from the physical principle of the pulsar motor to a simple magnifying glass or a light microscope to a sundial. They invite intensive engagement with nature and the environment, while leaving room for your own ideas and discoveries and encourage creative play.
Nature exploration indoors and outdoors
If in Goethe's time still natural history laymen - partly armed with binoculars, butterfly net and botanizing drum - roamed through forest and meadow to explore flora and fauna, nowadays you meet rather with GPS devices equipped supporters of geocaching. To feed the spirit of exploration and discovery early on, we offer the right utensils for nature enthusiasts. Small and robust, they are ideally suited to also be taken outside and immediately satisfy the curiosity of young hobby researchers.
