Madame Chêri whole milk quince almond

The quince, which belongs to the rose family, produces fruit with an unheard-of bouquet of scents of citrus, pear and apple, as well as a unique flavor that harmonizes perfectly with the Belgian milk chocolate and the almonds contained beyond. Because the cultivation of quince in Germany only plays a minor role, Madame Chêri additionally obtains fruit from France and Turkey.

In its chocolate variations, Madame Chêri, based in Düsseldorf, combines milk chocolate with almonds or pistachios and, in this context, sometimes unusual fruits such as kumquats and quinces. The kumquats are processed at the chocolate factory in Bolu in northern Turkey - the hometown of the company's founders. Nuts and fruits come from traditional growing areas, not infrequently from the region around the manufactory. Another principle of Madame Chêri is to offer the purest possible enjoyment. Therefore, one decided against the use of auxiliary substances such as soy lecithin.

60% milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, vanilla flavour), 25% quince, 15% roasted almonds, solid cocoa mass: 30%.
