The Limburg glass foundry is one of the most renowned lamp glass manufacturers in Europe. It is known for its mouth-blown quality glass, which consists of a wafer-thin layer of opal glass cased between two layers of crystal glass. The result is a highly transparent but opaque glass that distributes light particularly evenly. White-painted metal fittings and sliding bolt closures complete the pristine lampshades and provide a vibration-free glass mounting. The lamps come with an overall finish suitable for wet areas and are rated IP 44, the protection class common in bathrooms and sanitary facilities.
