Letter and document tray walnut wood

In terms of form and design, these pieces of storage furniture from Alicante in Spain are late, miniaturized descendants of the cylinder and roller bureaus that came into vogue in France in the mid-18th century. With their beautifully crafted compartments and roller shutters running smoothly in milled grooves, they – like their ancestors at their time – feature the highest standard of handicraft. What proves the fact that they belong to an extremely rare species is that there is no common name for them. (It is no help that any object that one can place on a desk for storing two or more of the things usually found there is ubiquitously subsumed under the likewise unattractive and inaccurate label “organizer”). In this particular design and made of solid, oiled walnut, these splendid pieces are available only from us.
