Leitz hanging file folder fanned out

For years, we have been looking for affordable suspension file folders that are subdivided, like the usually printed, so-called personnel folders, but without printing. After all, they offer the considerable added value that their contents can be filed not only chronologically according to receipt, but also according to any criteria. This obvious advantage can be seen in a file for a car, which holds the purchase contract, vehicle registration document, insurance documents, tax documents and invoices for maintenance, repairs and accessories in one compartment each. Or in the case of a file for an apartment, which holds the rental or purchase agreement, utility and energy bills, tradesmen's invoices or receipts for investments in the apartment.

So there are many possible uses, including correspondence files and entire business transactions in the form of brochures/price lists, contract terms/contracts, orders and delivery notes/invoices. As we still hadn't found what we were looking for, we quickly got together with Leitz, the manufacturer of our suspension files, and had one of these folders made to our specifications - five-fold, made of matt black, unprinted 320 g Manila cardboard on the outside and with dividers made of brown 250 g cardboard on the inside.
