The brush is made entirely by hand in a social enterprise in North Rhine-Westphalia. The bristles are drawn in by hand - recognizable by the copper wire that holds the bristles together and firmly connects the individual bundles to the wooden body. The bristles are made of Union, a combination of highly resistant natural fibers: Naturfibre, the extremely elastic leaf ribs of the agave, and Bassine, the strong leaf fibers of the sago palm. Both fibers are very tough, unbreakable and resistant to moisture, acid, alkali and heat.
